We're doing 100K, our way!
Join me in my journey for the 100k Your Way challenge this April as I walk 100km alongside my Pop, who is totally blind due to Retinitis Pigmentosa. This genetic condition affects the retina, the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye, leading to a gradual loss of vision. People like my Pop experience difficulties with night vision and peripheral sight, which can greatly impact their daily lives.
By supporting this fundraiser for Vision Australia, you're helping individuals with low vision retain their independence within the community. The funds raised will go towards essential services, including mobility training, assistive technology, and resources that empower those with vision impairments to navigate their environment confidently. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of many who face similar challenges as my Pop.
