I'm fundraising for LEAP Program

I am taking the LEAP

I am doing a 6 WEEK CHALLENGE where I will be completing 1 hour on the cross trainer everyday to raise funds for LEAP, a program which helps people with a vision impairment prepare for life after school. This challenge finishes June 30, 2021.

I am participating in Vision Australia’s LEAP (Learn, Engage, Act, Perform) 2021 Program.

LEAP is the employability and leadership program for young people at Vision Australia. During the program I have been learning important skills to help me to get ready for employment. I’ve already been thinking about becoming an author or something in the area of design as something I might want to do after school.

There are lots of things I will learn during LEAP, some are: understanding my values, how to speak with confidence, how to write a resume, how to submit a job application, and how to have a good job interview.

My next LEAP challenge is THIS fundraiser which is all about running a fundraiser to pay for guest speakers on an online camp for people with a vision impairment. This camp will help me and others with a vision impairment to have an even playing field when we leave high school. 

Through my fundraiser I hope to raise money to support Vision Australia and and the LEAP program.
