I'm fundraising for Vision Australia
My name is
Jackson, I am 16 years old. My life changed 5 years ago when my sight suddenly got worse to a
point where I was totally blind but my family and I pushed on and I was lucky enough
to gain a small bit of sight back.
I am working
with Vision Australia as part of a program called LEAP which helps young people
who, like me, who are blind or have a low vision build leadership and business
skills. As a part of the program we are fundraising to support Vision Australia
to help me and other kids like me to get the help with
applying for jobs/part time and getting the position we apply for.
So please help me in my journey to help people like me through their lives.
How does my fundraiser work?
It is a virtual fundraiser as current COVID
conditions around social distancing preclude you from seeing the jar in person.
I have filled a glass jar with jelly beans. Enter a guess as to how many jelly beans there are in
the jar and go into the draw to win a $50 Coles/Myer Gift Card to use in store or
online.
Each guess is $5, the more guesses you make the more chances you have to win.
No you don’t win the jelly beans due to health and
safety concerns.
