I’m taking on the 100K Your Way challenge! We often take exercise for granted, but for someone who is blind or has low vision a walk or a run isn’t always easy. That’s why, to help raise funds to support people who are blind or have low vision stay active and independent, I'll be riding, swimming or walking 100K over the month of April.

Day 6 and no donations yet! 😭

It's Day 6 and I've hit 41kms tonight. This month your generous donations go to Vision Australia to assist those with visual impairment and blindness to access the community and to lead a fulfilling life!

I take my inspiration from a friend and the "Big Boss" Jason, who is legally blind, and who has just returned from trekking to Everest Base Camp with his sister and brother-in-law as guides wearing a single fluoro gater on their ankle a few steps in front of Jason to guide him all the way there and back. What an amazing achievement in itself, but then to persevere with a very small field of vision like Jason did is just mind blowing for me! You are an inspiration! I am in awe!
