Participating in this joyful event is our way of saying thanks! The memory of the day when we were informed about Jax's rare degenerative eye disease, x-linked Retinoschisis, remains etched in our minds forever. Despite the initial panic that followed, Jax surprised us all by taking it in his stride and displaying remarkable resilience. He never complains, and more importantly, refuses to let his condition dampen his spirit. Although the recent news that he will never be able to drive was undoubtedly disheartening for a 14-year-old, Jax once again demonstrated his optimistic outlook by finding the silver lining in the situation.
Vision Australia has helped us in so many ways as we navigate this great unknown and we are so grateful for the amazing support they give to Jax.
