Trek For Vision

I'm trekking 60K for Vision

This March 7-11, I'm embarking on an unforgettable journey through New Zealand! Alongside Vision Australia clients, staff, and dedicated supporters, I'll be trekking 60 kilometres in just five inspiring days.

On day five of the trip, I have a special experience planned for the group. I’m donating my time to take on the role tour guide, and together we will explore Wellington city. I lived there for 17 years, and it is one of the most beautiful capital cities in the world.

There is an important purpose behind the trek, and that is to raise funds for our Quality Living Groups at Vision Australia and our Vision Australia Radio service.

Our Quality Living Groups help people who are blind or have low vision adjust to their new blindness. They take a person who is new to their blindness through a whole range of peer activities and other work to help them adjust to their new reality.

Vision Australia Radio provides many people right across Australia with high value information content across the radio waves for the print handicapped. We provide specialist content including programs on new technology, current affairs, book and film reviews, health and wellbeing, the arts, finance, travel and more.

Please check out the Impact page if you would like to know more about these crucial programs and the difference your donation will make. Participating in the Trek is self-funded and all money raised will go to helping people who are blind or have low vision to live independently.

Please support me in whatever way you can.

Thank you!

I'm fundraising for

Participating in the Trek is self-funded and all money raised will go to helping people who are blind or have low vision to live independently.
