How to kickstart 100km with a free fitness pass

100K Your Way is all about teamwork and support, which is why we’re thrilled to be kicking off this year’s challenge with free in-person events for our community, thanks to partner fitness centres and gyms.

On April 1, 2026, these partners will be offering all registered participants an exclusive free day pass to celebrate the launch of 100K Your Way and help you to start clocking those kms.

Find your local centre from the list below, mention that you’re registered for 100K Your Way and get moving!

Don’t forget to log your kms in your dashboard using the activity conversion chart to make every km count. If you’re playing sport such as basketball, tennis or even yoga, you can convert this activity using this handy guide.

Asking your local gym to get involved

If you can’t see a local fitness venue on this list, invite one to join us an active partner! Any centre that gets people moving can join, from Pilates and dance studios to local pools and community fitness groups.

The more venues that get involved, the better we can spread the word and help our community hit their fitness and fundraising goals.

If your favourite fitness centre isn’t listed, ask them to get involved at no cost by emailing Community Fundraising Co-Ordinator, Myra Woodley and letting us know they would like to be involved. You can also send them a messaging using the text provided below.

Email body:

Hi,

This April I’m going the distance for Australians with vision loss by moving 100km in a month for Vision Australia’s 100K Your Way and would love to get started with [name of fitness centre/studio].

To launch 100K Your Way in 2026, number of fitness centres around the country will be opening their doors on April 1st, offering free day-passes to registered participants. To join them, all you need to do is reach out to Vision Australia and let them know you would like to participate by offering free access on April 1st. They will handle the rest!

Supporting 100K Your Way is a great way to engage with the local community, showcase your centre, and support vital services for Australians with vision loss. Every dollar raised will empower people who are blind or have low vision to create their own path and move forward in life with confidence.

I hope you will join us,
