Support people like Jess and Lina
Despite being cleared by two paediatricians at birth, Lina’s parents knew something wasn’t right with her vision. Their parental instincts persisted and at 20 weeks, Lina was diagnosed with a severe form of albinism which would lead to very poor vision and challenges reaching her childhood milestones.
“Vision Australia ensured we have never felt alone or unsupported — our beacon of light in a very unfamiliar journey”, says Lina’s Mum, Jess.
Jess will be doing 100K Your Way again this April to help more families like theirs to receive much-needed support and guidance.
