I'm doing 100K Your Way
I’m taking on 100K Your Way!
I love to walk and run, but find I need a goal to motivate me. I’m planning on doing a half marathon later this year, so this is the perfect opportunity to get some serious K's under my belt!
The support I’ve received from Vision Australia and Seeing Eye Dogs has changed my life. From when I received my first visibility cane, to going through training with my second Seeing Eye Dog, I have felt so welcomed, heard and valued.
I have always been independent, which can be challenging when you live with limited sight. For me, it feels horrible having to ask for assistance, but at VA and SED, I have never felt uncomfortable doing so. I feel incredibly lucky to have met such lovely people and to have my Seeing Eye Dog.
That’s why, to help raise funds to support people who are blind or have low vision stay active and independent, I'll be 100K over the month of April.
