Santa Fun Run brings together a sea of Santas for a run or stroll around Melbourne’s beautiful Tan Track. Enjoy a festive day of live entertainment, kids’ activities, giveaways, and even meet Seeing Eye Dogs puppies in the fur.
Every dollar raised helps make spirits bright for children who are blind or have low vision, supporting Vision Australia’s Life Ready program. This important initiative empowers kids who are blind or have low vision with the skills and confidence to set them up for a lifetime of independence.

Event Details
Santa fun Run takes place at The Tan Track in Melbourne, with an event village on the lawns outside Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Time: 8AM - 12PM
Assembly and bib collection from: 8AM
Race time Wave 1 (Dasher): 9:30AM
Race time Wave 2 (Dancer): 9:40AM
Run location: The Tan Track, Melbourne Botanic Garden
Distance: 8 km for 2 laps (Dasher), 4km for 1 lap (Dancer)
New event village location: Kings Domain, outside the Sidney Myer Music Bowl front gate

Ticket includes entry to Santa Fun Run, registration bib and finishers gift bag including a travel size product from Salt Lab for the grownups and a Barbie, Hot Wheels, Pokémon MEGA or Fisher Price gift for the kids.
Race bibs will need to be collected at the race pack collection marquee between 8am and 9am on event day.
All merchandise is only avaliable for collections from the event.
Terms and Conditions
*Support person tickets can only be selected for Companion Card holders and must be booked with a paid ticket, to provide support for someone with accessibility needs at the event.

Santa Fun Run is so much more than running off the figgy pudding in festive attire! It’s a joyous way to make a meaningful impact by raising much-needed funds for Vision Australia’s specialist children’s program, Life Ready.
Life Ready supports the education and development of children and teens who are blind or have low vision, helping them form strong foundations for a lifetime of independence and meaningful inclusion.
