Suit up, Santas!
A Christmas tradition you can run with!
Santa Fun Run brings together a sea of Santas for a run or stroll around Melbourne’s beautiful Tan Track. Enjoy a festive day of live entertainment, kids’ activities, giveaways, and even meet Seeing Eye Dogs puppies in the fur.
Every dollar raised helps make spirits bright for children who are blind or have low vision, supporting Vision Australia’s Life Ready program. This important initiative empowers kids who are blind or have low vision with the skills and confidence to set them up for a lifetime of independence.

Supporting children with low vision
Santa Fun Run is so much more than running off the figgy pudding in festive attire! It’s a joyous way to make a meaningful impact by raising much-needed funds for Vision Australia’s specialist children’s program, Life Ready.
Life Ready supports the education and development of children and teens who are blind or have low vision, helping them form strong foundations for a lifetime of independence and meaningful inclusion.
Testimonials
- Russell, grandfather of Eddy from Team Eddy's Eagles
“We had only learned about Finn’s genetic diagnosis and his blindness a few months before last year’s Santa Fun Run. It was devastating news for our family, but we wanted to do something fun and meaningful to shift the focus away from sadness and toward hope. The Santa Fun Run was a beautiful way to do that and give back to the community.
I want Finn to grow up knowing that blindness is no barrier to what you can do in life, and that there is an entire village cheering him on every step of the way. We can’t wait to do it again this year - but bigger and better!”
- Claudia, mum of Vision Australia client Finn.
