My target 100 kms

I’m running 100km this April, with a little help from my friends!

This year I’ve decided to do something slightly unhinged:
I’ve signed up to run my first-ever marathon
🥴
To help keep me on track with my training program, I’m also taking part in Vision Australia’s 100kYourWay challenge - which means logging 100 kilometres in the month of April.

As a vision impaired runner, getting those kilometres done isn’t always as simple as lacing up and heading out the door. Many of my runs rely on organising guides, lining up schedules, planning routes, and hoping everything comes together on the day. It takes flexibility, teamwork, and a fair bit of problem‑solving, before the actual running even begins!

Every kilometre logged in April has a purpose. Vision Australia provides vital support that helps people like me who are blind or have low vision build confidence, independence and opportunity. This challenge is my way of giving back while pushing myself outside my comfort zone.

If you’re able to donate, you’ll be supporting far more than sore legs and sweaty training sessions. You’ll be helping fund services that make everyday movement, goals and independence more achievable for people like me.

Thank you for cheering me on, supporting the cause, and helping me work toward both a 100km April and a marathon finish line❤️
