When our daughter was 7 months old she was diagnosed with a condition that had resulted in early onset blindness. As parents we felt helpless in how to help our daughter and did not know what to expect for the future. Everything felt so overwhelming. 

We were put in contacted with Vision Australia. The amazing workers have supported our daughter and us to help her live a happy life. We don’t know where we would be without the support of Vision Australia. 

This is why I’ve chosen to take on 100K Your Way this April. I’ll be moving 100km over the month to raise vital funds for Vision Australia, so they can provide immediate support to people when they need it the most.

Because Vision Australia is focused on a future where vision loss never obscures what’s possible. Where every Australian living with low vision or blindness feels a sense of belonging and has the confidence to move forward to live life as they choose.
