400km for Vision Australia's 100K Your Way

This April I'll be challenging myself to move 400km through cycling for Vision Australia's 100K Your Way.

While I'm currently nursing a knee injury and preparing for the HBF Run for a Reason half marathon on May 25, I'm staying active by substituting runs with cycling sessions. My 400km goal quadruples the standard challenge distance, reflecting my commitment to this important cause through my current fitness routine of:

  • 3 weekly cycling/running sessions 
  • 3 weekly swim sessions
  • Weekly hiking
  • Strength training

For someone who is blind or has low vision, staying active and independent isn't always easy. Even a simple walk or run can be a challenge. Vision Australia is changing that, by playing a crucial role in empowering people of all ages who are blind or have low vision to move the way they choose.
